Homework, due by class time on October 5, 2000

Note: Those who turn in this assignment by class time on September 28, will be exempt from having to do the programming homework that will be assigned on that date.  Instead, they will begin work on their projects. They will, of course, be expected to do the reading assignment.
Please have homework completed by the time class begins at 12:45.

Reading

• Read chapters 5 and 6 of Deitel & Deitel.

Programming Project

• Modify this new improved Darcy's Law Applet to implement a mathematical formula related to the topic of your proposed project.
• After you have modified the program, compile and test it until it executes properly.
• Email or call me if you encounter any problems.
• Email me the source code by 9:00 on Wednesday evening of the day before the class when you intend to turn it in..
• Be prepared to present your work to the class.
